Participate and go in the draw to win a new Google Nexus 7 Tablet valued at $299 RRP!
One of the big trends in internet use at present is a massive shift to mobile with almost 30% of our online audience viewing their sporting information on their mobiles.
In July we made every SP Standard & Advanced website mobile-rendered, which has saved potentially thousands of dollars for each Club and League in the SP network. Australian consumers are becoming more mobile with an estimated 29 million mobile phone subscriptions in Australia, of which 52% are smartphones (Source: responys The 2012 Digital Marketing Big Australia Report)
In response to this massive shift, our goal in 2012 was to move to mobile where our clubs and leagues could easily access timely, relevant information straight from their mobile phone.
The growth in mobile has allowed us to make mobile one of our top priorities, ensuring our clubs and leagues could take advantage of this fast-growing trend.
Towards the end of the week we are launching our Big Mobile User Survey to help us learn from our users; who uses mobile and how we can serve them better across this channel. The survey will allow us to gain insights into mobile usage and also how we can improve this service.
In appreciation for completing the survey, we will also be giving the chance for one lucky person to win new Google Nexus 7 Tablet valued at $299 RRP!
From early Friday, the survey will be available across all SportingPulse mobile sites and takes only a few minutes to complete. We encourage you to participate so we can improve your mobile experience for your club or league. We’re always looking to improve our services and user experience for our sporting community, so thanks for your contribution.
We’re excited about this growth and the opportunities that will allow our users to connect with their club via mobile.
