SportingPulse is pleased to announce the latest release of Sportzware Central version 7.0 (SWC v7). SWC is the complete administration and competition management software package for sporting organisations, and now comes with a number of exciting new enhancements.
SportingPulse is pleased to announce the latest release of Sportzware Central version 7.0 (SWC v7). SWC is the complete administration and competition management software package for sporting organisations, and now comes with a number of exciting new enhancements.
Current users of SWC should have received a registration key in an email sent out by SportingPulse at the end of January with details on how to upgrade to SWC v7. For new users, SWC v7 is available to download or you can to have SWC v7 sent to you on CD.
The new Terms & Conditions for SWC v7 and Sportzware Websites appear and ask for acceptance when downloading SWC7 and the first time administrators update their websites.
The enhancements to SWC v7 include:
Online software registration
Re-registering your copy of the SWC7 software is now done through an automated online system. This means manual input of codes is no longer necessary for re-registration. You will only need to manually enter your registration code the first time you register SWC7.
Member Season Functionality
The software will now work in conjunction with the new Seasons Module in the Online Membership system. This will make it easier for administrators to track any individuals’ playing history as well as players in competitions.
This functionality eases the rollover from one season to the next, allowing administrators to begin the process of importing members into the next season during the current season.
New Graphical Interface
New look menus, tabs and buttons makes it easier to navigate through the program.
New grids that have extra sorting and filtering functionality have also been added.
New Reporting Engine
The new reporting engine significantly improves the quality of exported reports to formats such as MSWord and PDFs. It is also far more compatible with Microsoft Vista.
The reporting engine is built upon Crystal Reports version 11 allowing for improved custom reports to be created.
Custom Fields
Custom Fields have now been added to the Clubs and Teams sections allowing for a more thorough collection of data and information.
There have also been more Custom Fields added to the Members section to improve administrators’ capacity to collect member data.
Add Button in Full Match Entry Removed (ARLD version only)
All new players must be entered and validated into the system prior to match entry through the normal member interface.
Use of Secondary/Tertiary Fields as Home Venues
A Team can now have more than one home venue. This means that if there are any clashes these secondary and tertiary fields can be used to rectify the problem.
Sub-Venues
Sub-venue functionality has been improved meaning the user no longer needs to specify the main venue in the sub-venue name.
Sub-Venues can now be used in Fixturing and Venue Allocation. This functionality allows for the allotment of specific competition types to venues that have the necessary fields for that competition.
The release of SWC v7 does not yet include French and Spanish language versions or sport-specific versions. These versions will be available shortly.
